This easy and elegant Whipped Brie recipe transforms creamy brie cheese into a smooth, luscious spread perfect for entertaining. Blended until airy and light, it’s topped with sweet fruit preserves, a drizzle of honey, and flaky sea salt, served alongside crackers or toasted bread for a delightful appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz. brie, rind removed
  • 2 tbsp. hot water
  • 2 tbsp. fruit preserves, such as fig or cherry

For Serving

  • Honey, for drizzling
  • Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling
  • Crackers or toasted bread, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Brie: Remove the rind from the brie and cut it into smaller pieces to facilitate blending. Place the brie pieces in a food processor.
  2. Whip the Brie: Pulse the brie in the food processor until it starts to come together in a creamy texture, about 1 minute. Then, with the motor running, slowly add the 2 tablespoons of hot water. Continue blending for 8 to 10 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed until the brie becomes smooth and whipped, similar to the consistency of buttercream.
  3. Assemble the Dish: Transfer the whipped brie to a serving bowl. Spoon the fruit preserves evenly over the top.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Drizzle honey over the preserves and sprinkle flaky sea salt to taste. Serve immediately with crackers or toasted bread for spreading.

Notes

  • Use hot water to help achieve the creamy, spreadable consistency in the whipped brie.
  • Choose your favorite fruit preserves like fig, cherry, or apricot for varied flavor profiles.
  • Remove the rind entirely for the smoothest texture, but some prefer leaving a bit for added flavor.
  • This whipped brie is best served fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days; bring to room temperature before serving.
  • Use a food processor for best results; a blender or hand mixer may not achieve the same fluffy texture.
