These delicious Turkey Sliders made with Hawaiian rolls, deli turkey, and Swiss cheese, topped with a savory butter mixture and baked to melty perfection, are perfect for gatherings or a tasty snack. The sliders are buttery, flavorful, and easy to prepare in under an hour.

Ingredients

Slider Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced deli turkey
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced Swiss cheese

Butter Topping

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tablespoon everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch casserole dish with foil and spray the bottom with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Slice Rolls: Keeping the rolls together, slice them horizontally in half without separating them, so you have one large bottom half and a top half.
  3. Layer Bottom Rolls: Place the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls into the prepared casserole dish, creating the base layer for the sliders.
  4. Add Turkey and Cheese: Evenly layer the thin-sliced deli turkey over the bottom rolls, then place the Swiss cheese slices on top of the turkey.
  5. Top with Rolls: Place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls on top of the cheese, completing the slider assembly.
  6. Melt Butter Mixture: Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl or saucepan. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning until evenly combined.
  7. Brush Butter Mixture: Generously brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls. Allow the sliders to rest for 5 minutes so the rolls can absorb the flavors.
  8. Bake Covered: Cover the casserole dish with foil to prevent drying out. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes until the cheese is melted and the sliders are warm throughout.
  9. Finish Baking Uncovered: Remove the foil during the last 5 minutes of baking to let the tops of the rolls brown slightly and become crisp.
  10. Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and serve the turkey sliders warm for the best taste.

Notes

  • Using Hawaiian rolls ensures a slightly sweet and soft slider that complements the savory turkey and cheese.
  • The everything bagel seasoning adds a flavorful crunch and seasoning on top but can be substituted with sesame seeds or poppy seeds if desired.
  • If you prefer, you can use a baking sheet instead of a casserole dish, but be sure to line and grease it to keep the sliders intact.
  • Allowing the butter mixture to soak into the rolls enhances flavor and moisture.
  • These sliders are excellent served with pickles, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce.
