These Quick and Easy Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are a delicious and fun twist on classic cheeseburgers, wrapped in fluffy biscuit dough and baked to golden perfection. Packed with seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and topped with a savory garlic Parmesan butter, they make a perfect appetizer or snack for any occasion.

Ingredients

Ground Beef Mixture

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 fat content recommended)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided: ½ cup for beef mixture, ½ cup for filling)

Biscuit Dough

  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits each)

Garlic Parmesan Topping

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all ingredients and have them ready to ensure a smooth cooking process.
  2. Cook the Ground Beef: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking the meat into small crumbles until no pink remains and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Drain excess grease if needed. Stir in 2 tsp garlic powder and half of the shredded cheddar cheese (½ cup) until melted and blended. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. Assemble Your Cheeseburger Bombs: Flatten each biscuit dough round into a 4-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin. Spoon 1 tablespoon of the beef mixture into the center of a flattened dough circle. Top with 1 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese. Place another flattened biscuit on top and seal the edges by pressing firmly. Repeat for all biscuits.
  4. Bake the Cheeseburger Bombs: Arrange the bombs seam-side down on an ungreased baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  5. Add the Parmesan Garlic Topping: While the bombs bake, melt butter and mix it with Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Immediately after removing the bombs from the oven, brush the Parmesan garlic butter over the tops for a flavorful finish.

Notes

  • For best results, use refrigerated biscuit dough that is fresh and not expired.
  • You can substitute cheddar cheese with your favorite cheese such as mozzarella or pepper jack for variation.
  • Make sure to seal the edges of the biscuit dough tightly to prevent filling from leaking during baking.
  • These bombs can be reheated in the oven or microwave but are best served fresh.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the ground beef reaches a safe internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
