These refreshing Pineapple Popsicles are a simple and delicious treat made with just pineapple juice and sugar. Perfect for warm days, they offer a sweet tropical flavor and are easy to prepare and freeze at home.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups (12 ounces) canned 100% pineapple juice
  • 6 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: Whisk together the pineapple juice and granulated sugar until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  2. Fill Molds: Pour the juice and sugar mixture into popsicle molds or paper cups. Insert wooden sticks into the center of each mold or cup to serve as handles.
  3. Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and freeze until firm, which takes roughly 4 hours but is best to leave overnight for full firmness.
  4. Unmold and Store: Once frozen, unmold the popsicles and lay them in a single layer on wax or parchment paper. Transfer them to a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 1 week. For longer storage, individually wrap each popsicle in plastic wrap, place them in a freezer bag or airtight container, and freeze for up to 1 month.

Notes

  • For easier unmolding, briefly dip the molds in warm water to loosen the popsicles.
  • You can adjust the sugar amount to taste or substitute with honey or a sugar alternative.
  • If using paper cups, ensure the wooden sticks are centered and supported until frozen.
  • Consume within one month for best flavor and texture.
