A cozy and delicious Maple Cinnamon Latte combining rich espresso with sweet maple syrup, fragrant vanilla, and a touch of cinnamon, topped with steamed milk and foam for a perfectly comforting coffee treat.

Ingredients

Liquid Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) hot espresso (or strongly brewed coffee)
  • 1-2 tablespoons (15-30 milliliters) maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup (180 milliliters) milk (steamed, dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Spices

  • Pinch ground cinnamon (plus more for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine Flavorings: Pour the maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of ground cinnamon into the bottom of a mug or heat-resistant glass.
  2. Add Espresso: Pour the hot espresso (or strongly brewed coffee) into the mug and stir thoroughly to combine all the ingredients well.
  3. Pour Steamed Milk: Hold the mug at a 45˚ angle and slowly pour the steamed milk into the center of the mug, filling it gently and allowing a thin layer of foam to form on top.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle an additional pinch of cinnamon on top of the foam for garnish. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute espresso with strongly brewed coffee if an espresso machine is not available.
  • For a vegan option, use plant-based milk such as almond, oat, or soy milk.
  • Adjust the maple syrup quantity according to your sweetness preference.
  • Ensure the milk is steamed to create a creamy foam for the best latte texture.
  • Use freshly ground cinnamon for a more intense and fresh flavor.
