Glow Water is a refreshing and naturally flavored sparkling water infused with a vibrant mix of fruits, herbs, and spices. This easy-to-make beverage combines the crispness of seltzer with the fresh taste of cucumber, mint, lemon, peach, ginger, cinnamon, strawberry, and lime, providing a delightful cooling drink perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Base

  • 3 cans seltzer water

Fruits and Herbs

  • 1 cucumber, cut into 1/2″ rounds
  • 3 sprigs mint
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 peach, sliced
  • 3 strawberries, halved
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced

Spices

  • Ginger, skin removed and sliced into rounds (about 1 inch total)
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Wash all fruits and herbs thoroughly. Cut the cucumber into 1/2 inch rounds, thinly slice the lemon and lime, slice the peach, halve the strawberries, and peel and slice the ginger into rounds. Set aside the cinnamon stick.
  2. Combine in a Pitcher: In a large pitcher, pour in the 3 cans of seltzer water. Add all prepared fruits, herbs, and spices — cucumber, mint sprigs, lemon, peach, ginger slices, cinnamon stick, strawberries, and lime slices.
  3. Muddle to Release Flavors (Optional): Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press the ingredients in the pitcher to release their natural flavors and aromas without breaking them too much.
  4. Serve or Chill: You can serve the Glow Water immediately over ice for a refreshing drink or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours to allow flavors to infuse more deeply before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust quantities of fruit and herbs based on your taste preference for more or less intense flavor.
  • You can substitute the seltzer water with sparkling mineral water or club soda for variation.
  • For a sweeter twist, add a touch of natural sweetener like honey or agave, though it will no longer be sugar-free.
