Ingredients
For the cookie dough
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs (room temperature)
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt (reduce if using salted butter)
2 cups semisweet or dark chocolate chips
Instructions
Preparation: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
