Ingredients

Ground Beef:

  • 1 pound

Taco Seasoning:

  • 1 packet

Water:

  • 2 cups

Minute Rice, uncooked:

  • 2 cups

Salsa:

  • 1 cup

Shredded Cheddar Cheese:

  • 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Brown the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, brown and crumble the ground beef. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add Taco Seasoning and Water: Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Allow the mixture to come to a boil.
  3. Stir in Uncooked Rice: Lower the heat, add the uncooked Minute Rice, and stir well.
  4. Cook the Rice: Cover and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the rice is tender. Remove the lid and stir in salsa and cheese.
