A delicious and refreshing Strawberry Banana Smoothie made with frozen strawberries, fresh bananas, strawberry banana yogurt, and whole milk. This quick and easy smoothie is perfect for a nutritious breakfast or a satisfying snack, topped optionally with whipped cream and fresh fruit slices for a delightful presentation.

Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries, sliced
  • 2 bananas, fresh and sliced
  • 1 cup strawberry banana yogurt
  • ⅔ cup whole milk

Optional Garnish

  • Canned whipped topping
  • 2 whole fresh strawberries
  • 4 slices fresh banana

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Gather 2 cups of sliced frozen strawberries, 2 sliced fresh bananas, 1 cup of strawberry banana yogurt, and ⅔ cup of whole milk.
  2. Blend Ingredients: Place the frozen strawberries, sliced bananas, yogurt, and milk into a blender. Pulse on low speed 4 to 5 times to break down the fruit and combine the ingredients evenly. Then blend continuously on the low-speed milkshake or smoothie setting for 1 minute until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  3. Garnish and Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses and optionally garnish each serving with canned whipped topping, a whole fresh strawberry, and banana slices. Serve immediately to enjoy at its freshest.

Notes

  • Use fresh bananas instead of frozen for better texture.
  • Adjust milk quantity to achieve your desired smoothie consistency.
  • For a dairy-free alternative, substitute whole milk and yogurt with almond or oat milk and a dairy-free yogurt.
  • The smoothie is best enjoyed immediately to retain optimal freshness and texture.
  • Add a scoop of protein powder for an extra nutritional boost if desired.
