For the Stir Fry:

  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. MARINATE THE STEAK AND SHRIMP: In a bowl, combine soy sauce and cornstarch. Add steak and shrimp, mix well to coat, and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. COOK THE STEAK: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet. Cook steak for 2-3 minutes until browned, then set aside.
  3. COOK THE SHRIMP: Add more oil if needed, cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque, then set aside.
  4. STIR FRY THE VEGETABLES: Sauté bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Add garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.
  5. COMBINE AND SERVE: Return steak and shrimp to the skillet, toss with vegetables, and cook for 1 more minute. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
