Dry Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
Wet Ingredients:
2.5 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup water
4 cups whole milk
Instructions
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a pan, mix the cocoa and sugar together.
Prepare Cornstarch Paste: Dissolve the cornstarch in the water and add it to the pan, stirring to make a paste.
Heat and Whisk: Heat the mixture, then pour in the milk while whisking. Heat over medium heat until it simmers, stirring often. Continue heating and stirring until the cocoa thickens and becomes glossy.
