Enjoy a delicious and easy Slow Cooker Lasagna for a comforting meal. Layers of meaty sauce, noodles, and cheese come together perfectly in this crockpot dinner.

Ingredients

Meat Sauce:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup chopped white onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano

Cheese Mixture:

  • 15 ounces Ricotta cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

Additional Ingredients:

  • 25 ounces marinara sauce
  • 16 ounces lasagna noodles, uncooked, divided

Instructions

  1. Saute Aromatics: In a large skillet, saute onions until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  2. Cook Meat Sauce: Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and oregano to the skillet. Brown the meat, then add marinara sauce and simmer until heated through.
  3. Prepare Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, combine Ricotta cheese, egg, 1 cup of mozzarella, ¼ cup of Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer in Slow Cooker: Start with meat sauce, then noodles, cheese mixture, and repeat. Top with remaining cheeses.
  5. Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 3.5 hours until noodles are tender. Let rest before serving.

Notes

  • Slow cookers vary, so adjust cooking times as needed.
  • Most slow cookers will only require about half a box of lasagna noodles.
