Ingredients

Chicken:

  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast

Sauce:

  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce (or more to taste)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder

Mac & Cheese:

  • 8 ounces uncooked macaroni noodles
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Add Chicken: Place chicken in the slow cooker.
  2. Prepare Sauce: Add broth, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and mustard powder. Cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours.
  3. Cook Mac & Cheese: Remove chicken, cut/shred, return to pot. Add macaroni, cook on HIGH until done. Make cheese sauce separately, then add to slow cooker.
  4. Serve: Top with hot sauce and enjoy!
