Ingredients

Brisket:

  • 46 pound brisket

Seasoning:

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Additional:

  • 1 cup bbq sauce divided
  • parsley for optional garnish

Instructions

  1. Place Brisket: Put the brisket in the slow cooker.
  2. Prepare Seasoning: Mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce; pour over brisket.
  3. Add Seasonings: Sprinkle brown sugar, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic salt, and pepper over the brisket. Top with ½ cup of BBQ sauce.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours until tender.
  5. Optional Broil: Brush brisket with remaining BBQ sauce, broil for a crust.
  6. Rest and Serve: Rest brisket covered with foil for 15-20 minutes before slicing. Serve with sauce from the slow cooker or additional BBQ sauce.

  • You can use the seasonings as a dry rub for the brisket.
  • Ensure the brisket reaches 185-200℉ internally for doneness.
