Add Lasagna Ingredients: Add broken lasagna noodles, pasta sauce, water, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cover and simmer for 30-35 minutes.
Prepare Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, mix ricotta, Parmesan, basil, salt, and pepper.
Layer and Melt Cheese: Spoon cheese mixture over cooked noodles, top with mozzarella, cover, and cook until cheese melts.

Notes
Pre-shredded cheese can be used as a substitute for freshly shredded cheese.
Fresh parsley can replace basil.
1 pound of sweet Italian sausage can replace the beef and sausage combination.
