Ingredients

Cracker Bites:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
  • 1 bag (9 oz) oyster crackers

Caramel Glaze:

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prep and preheat: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the oyster crackers in a single, even layer. Time: 5 minutes
  2. Make the caramel: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens slightly and begins to bubble. Time: 5 minutes
