Ingredients
Pizza Dough:
1 ball pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
White Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
1 whole head of roasted garlic (about 8–10 cloves)
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup half and half
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Toppings:
1 1/2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F. Prepare a baking sheet.
Make White Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan, sauté roasted garlic, add flour, milk, and half and half. Season with pepper, simmer until thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
Prepare Dough: Roll out pizza dough on a baking sheet.
Assemble Pizza: Spread white sauce on dough, add chicken, red onion, and mozzarella cheese.
Bake: Bake in the oven for 17 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
