  • 2 tsp flaky sea salt (Maldon)

  • 1/2 tsp lemon or orange zest (optional)
  • Kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. For the Roasted Garlic Bread – In a small bowl, combine active dry yeast, sugar, and ¼ cup warm water. Stir until foamy. Whisk flour, salt, yeast mixture, and warm water. Let rise for 3 hours. Roast garlic, then incorporate into dough. Let rise again. Bake in a preheated Dutch oven.
  2. For the Basil Butter – Combine butter, basil, and zest. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until serving.
