Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1¾ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

Wet Ingredients:

  • ½ cup canola oil
  • 2 eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup mashed banana
  • ¼ cup whole milk

Additional:

  • ½ cup pecans, diced (or walnuts)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the sugars, oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, mashed banana, and milk until well combined.
  4. Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the diced pecans.
