Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F / 45°C)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour (plus more if needed)

For the Peach Pie Filling:

  • 2 cups fresh or canned peaches, diced (drained if canned)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon-Sugar Filling:

  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Make the Dough: In a large bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. Add sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Stir to combine. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms. Knead for about 5–7 minutes, then place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1–1.5 hours).
  2. Prepare the Peach Filling: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, vanilla, and cornstarch. Cook, stirring gently, until thickened (about 5 minutes). Let cool completely.
  3. Roll Out the Dough: Punch down the dough and roll it into a large rectangle (about 12×18 inches) on a floured surface.
  4. Add Fillings: Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the butter. Spoon the cooled peach filling evenly over the cinnamon sugar layer.
