Ingredients

For the Meatloaf:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk (for meatloaf)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

For the Mac and Cheese:

  • 2 cups uncooked macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 tbsp flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well and press into a greased baking dish.

  3. Bake the meatloaf for 20 minutes.
  4. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  5. For the cheese sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, stir in flour, cook for one minute. Gradually whisk in milk, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and dry mustard. Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
