These Melted Mozzarella & Ranch Chicken Bombs are crispy on the outside, filled with gooey cheese inside, and bursting with savory ranch flavor. A delicious twist on traditional chicken nuggets, these bombs are perfect for a fun family dinner or a tasty party appetizer.

Ingredients

Chicken Bombs:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Filling:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing

Breading:

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken Bombs: Flatten each chicken piece slightly and stuff with mozzarella cheese. Seal well.
  2. Breading: Dip each chicken piece into egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Frying: Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken bombs until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Serving: Drizzle with ranch dressing and serve hot.

Notes

  • Be sure to seal the chicken bombs well to prevent the cheese from leaking out during frying.
  • Adjust the seasoning to your preference by adding more spices or herbs to the breading.
