A refreshing and simple flat-stomach drink made with lemon and water, ideal for jump-starting digestion and hydration first thing in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) warm or room-temperature water
  • Juice of ½ fresh lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
  • Optional: A pinch of ground ginger or a few fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Warm the water until pleasantly warm (not boiling).
  2. Squeeze half a lemon into the water and stir gently.
  3. Optionally, add a pinch of ground ginger or a few mint leaves.
  4. Sip the drink slowly, ideally first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
