Hot Honey Salmon Bites are seasoned bite-sized pieces of salmon, perfectly cooked in an air fryer, and then smothered in a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze. Serve the salmon bites as an appetizer or the main course with a side dish. Oven instructions are also included if you don’t have an air fryer.

Ingredients

Salmon Bites:

  • 1 ½ pounds salmon, about 4 filets, skins removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Hot Honey Glaze:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ¼ cup (85 g) hot honey, homemade or store-bought
  • parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.
  2. Season salmon: In a large bowl, combine oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add salmon bites and gently toss to coat.
  3. Air fry: Place the salmon bites into the basket of an air fryer in an even layer. Air fry for 9-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  4. Make hot honey glaze: In a saucepan, melt butter and hot honey. Toss cooked salmon bites in the glaze.
  5. Garnish and serve: Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Oven Instructions: Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Bake seasoned salmon cubes for 16 minutes, flipping halfway through. Toss in hot honey sauce before serving.
