Brownies:

  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 sticks (24 tablespoons) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk (suggest using 2% or whole)
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Frosting:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9×13 baking pan with non-stick spray or parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugar: In a mixer, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
  3. Mix dry ingredients: Combine cocoa powder, flour, and salt in a bowl.
