Ingredients

For the Chow Mein:

  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz chow mein noodles (or thin spaghetti)
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup julienned carrots
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp oil (for cooking)

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (slurry)

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles: Prepare noodles according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Mix sauce: In a bowl, combine all sauce ingredients; set aside.
