½ cup candy cane bits, crushed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 cups milk
For Garnish:
whipped cream

Instructions
Place Ingredients in the Slow Cooker: Combine chocolate chips, crushed candy canes, vanilla extract, and milk in the slow cooker.
Cook: Heat on high for 45 minutes or low for 90 minutes.
Whisk and Serve: Whisk the hot chocolate well and ladle into mugs. Garnish with whipped cream and additional candy canes.
