Creamy Boursin Chicken Pasta is a luxurious dish featuring tender chicken, al dente pasta, and a velvety sauce infused with Boursin cheese. Easily customizable with your favorite veggies or protein, this recipe is a quick and flavorful option for any occasion.

Ingredients

Chicken:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken breasts or thighs, boneless and skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Pasta:

  • 12 ounces pasta (penne, rigatoni, or fettuccine)
  • 2 cloves garlic, freshly minced
  • 5.2 ounces Boursin cheese, Garlic & Herb flavor
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional Add-Ons:

  • 2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (for spice)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken – Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Cook in olive oil until golden and fully cooked. Remove from skillet.
  2. Cook the Pasta – Boil salted water, cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  3. Make the Creamy Boursin Sauce – Sauté minced garlic, add Boursin cheese and heavy cream. Mix until smooth. Add chicken broth to thin the sauce.
  4. Combine Everything – Toss cooked chicken in the sauce. Add pasta, coat evenly. Add pasta water if needed to adjust sauce consistency.
  5. Serve and Garnish – Serve hot, garnished with parsley. Pair with garlic bread or salad.
