Ingredients

Banana Bread:

  • 3 medium bananas, about 1 cup mashed
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup walnuts or pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8″x5″ loaf pan and set aside.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, mash bananas, then mix in melted butter.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients: Stir in sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda, salt, and flour until combined.
  4. Fold in Nuts: Gently fold in chopped nuts, then transfer batter to loaf pan.
  5. Bake: Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.

Notes
