Ingredients

Crust:

  • 16 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Crumble Topping:

  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (can be toasted)

Filling:

  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
  • ½ to cup raspberry preserves, seedless (optional)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare baking dish.
  2. Cream butter and sugar: Cream butter and brown sugar until light.
  3. Mix dough: Combine flour and salt to make a crumbly dough.
  4. Prepare crust: Press most of the dough into baking dish.
  5. Bake crust: Bake for 10 minutes until slightly golden.
  6. Make crumb topping: Stir pecans into reserved dough.
  7. Melt chocolate: Melt condensed milk and bittersweet chocolate.
  8. Layer: Pour chocolate over crust, add crumb topping, raspberry preserves, and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  9. Bake: Bake for 25 minutes until set.
  10. Cool and serve: Cool, cut into bars, and enjoy!
