Ingredients

Chicken:

  • 1 ½ lbs chicken breast cut in half
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian blend
  • ½ tsp paprika

Alfredo:

  • 8 tbsp butter unsalted
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian blend
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Others:

  • 12 oz fettuccine
  • ½ cup pasta water
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pound your chicken: Pound chicken until even in size, season with garlic powder, Italian blend, and paprika on both sides.
  2. Cook chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook chicken for 4-6 minutes each side, set aside.
  3. Cook pasta: Boil water, cook pasta, reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  4. Make Alfredo sauce: Melt butter in a skillet, add garlic, stir in cream, seasonings, and Parmesan.
  5. Combine pasta and sauce: Add drained pasta to sauce, mix in reserved water, simmer.
  6. Finish and serve: Let sauce thicken, top pasta with sliced chicken, garnish with parsley.
