Ingredients
Noodles:
12 ounces macaroni noodles
Cheeseburger Mixture:
1 Tablespoon olive oil
¼ cup onion, diced
1 pound ground sirloin
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Montreal Steak seasoning
1 teaspoon minced garlic
⅓ cup ketchup
2 Tablespoons mustard
28 ounces diced tomatoes
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions
Cook Noodles: Boil macaroni noodles in salted water, drain, and set aside.
Saute Onion: In a large skillet, sauté diced onion in olive oil until soft.
Cook Meat Mixture: Add ground sirloin, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, Montreal Steak seasoning, and garlic. Cook until meat is browned.
Combine Ingredients: Mix in ketchup, mustard, diced tomatoes, and 1.5 cups of shredded cheese. Add cooked noodles and stir.
Finish and Serve: Top with remaining cheese, cover, melt the cheese, and serve.
Notes
This dish freezes well in a 9×13 dish, tightly wrapped.
Optional toppings include diced pickles, onions, mushrooms, or bacon.
To reheat, thaw overnight in the fridge and bake at 350°F for 20–30 minutes.
