Ingredients

For the Lemon Garlic Chicken:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon butter

For the Bowtie Pasta:

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Bowtie Pasta: Boil the bowtie pasta in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Prepare the Lemon Garlic Chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Sear in olive oil until golden and cooked through. Add garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and butter.
  3. Make the Cream Sauce: Melt butter in the skillet. Add heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer and thicken the sauce. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine and Serve: Toss cooked pasta in the sauce. Add the lemon garlic chicken. Mix well and serve garnished with parsley and extra Parmesan.
