  • 1 pound beef tenderloin tips
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

Mushroom Gravy

  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup sliced onion
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 ½ cups beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the skillet: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil.
  2. Sear the beef: Season beef with salt and pepper, sear until browned on all sides, then set aside.
  3. Cook the mushrooms: In the same skillet, cook onion, mushrooms until caramelized, add garlic.
